Thank you for visiting La Grande Fougere, a 'Logis' dating from the 15thC, in the grounds of which is our holiday cottage or 'Gite'
We are sure that should you choose us for your self catering holiday in France, you will be delighted with this unspoilt area of the Charente and all it has to offer by way of attractions,activities and culinary delights,and like others before you be impressed by the size and comfort of your French accommodation. As the photo gallery shows the former coachouse has been sympathetically restored to offer all modern comforts whilst keeping a sense of its heritage. Outside there is a 10x5m pool for your private use,a patio area for outside dining or sunbathing and a barbeque.
For your convenience,on the day of your arrival we provide a buffet style meal,and a welcome pack of groceries and wine.

The accommodation consists of a large open plan ground floor (app 120 m) with comfortable seating in the lounge area,and satellite tv,video and stereo unit.
The kitchen is fully equipped,and the dining area seats eight in comfort.
Upstairs are three bedrooms,two doubles and a 'family room' with four single beds and a full size table tennis table,a bright and airy bathroom with wc and bath/shower screen and a seperate wc
